Attorney Gregory E. Boan, born and raised in Miami, is fluent in English and Spanish and maintains proficiency in Portuguese. Dr. Boan earned three bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree from Florida State University, as well as his Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University.
During law school, Dr. Boan graduated with Dean’s List honors, was awarded a scholarship by the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, served as a public service fellow at Nova Southeastern University College of Law, received the Glanzlaw Professionalism Endowment Award, and was recognized at the gold level through the Nova Law Pro Bono Program. He has also contributed to business-related matters through the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
Dr. Boan has extensive experience in Immigration and Business Law, advising individuals, families, professionals, investors, entrepreneurs, and companies in the United States and abroad.
In the immigration field, his practice includes matters involving employment-based, talent-based, professional experience-based, and investment-based visas, transfers of executives and managers, adjustment and change of status, naturalization, applications for admission to the United States, asylum, appeals, and other matters before U.S. immigration authorities.
His business law experience includes advising clients on the formation and structuring of U.S. companies, international business expansion, establishment of subsidiaries, corporate reorganizations, contracts, investments, and legal matters related to the operation and growth of businesses.
As G.E.B. GLOBAL has evolved into a Private Client practice, the firm has also expanded its services to include Estate Planning, assisting individuals and families with the organization and protection of their interests, succession planning, and the development of long-term legal strategies in the United States.
This integrated approach allows G.E.B. GLOBAL to support clients through different stages of their lives, from immigrating to and establishing themselves in the United States to building and expanding businesses, making investments, and organizing and protecting their assets.
With extensive experience as both a litigator and transactional attorney, Dr. Boan remains committed to closely monitoring legislative, regulatory, and governmental developments that may affect his clients’ immigration, business, and estate planning interests.
Before founding G.E.B. GLOBAL, Dr. Boan served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert W. Lee of Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit and as a legal clerk for the City Attorney’s Office of Fort Lauderdale. These experiences provided him with significant insight into governmental procedures, administrative law, and the operation of public institutions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Boan has received recognition for his legal writing and research on matters involving civil and criminal law, professional ethics, LGBT-related legal issues, and Florida small claims rules.
Dr. Boan also worked in the Republic of Panama with the United Nations on matters involving economics, health, and land rights. In Florida, he has advocated and advised on issues involving procurement, taxation, public policy, real estate development, land use, and other matters related to government and business.
Dr. Boan is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Selected Immigration Approvals
Over the years, Gregory Edward Boan and G.E.B. GLOBAL have represented professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, investors, creatives, and families in a wide range of U.S. immigration matters, including employment-based immigrant petitions, investor visas, adjustment of status, and permanent residence.
The firm has publicly documented approvals involving individuals from diverse professional backgrounds and industries. Selected examples include an EB-1A petition and Green Card for an architect of extraordinary ability, an EB-1A and Green Card for a political strategist, and an EB-1A and Green Card for an internationally recognized creative director and screenwriter.
G.E.B. GLOBAL has also obtained EB-2 National Interest Waiver approvals for professionals and entrepreneurs working in areas such as real estate development, urban development, telecommunications, information technology, agribusiness, civil engineering, and construction. Dr. Boan was invited to appear live on WAVS 1170 AM, a long-standing Caribbean radio station in the United States, where he discussed immigration matters affecting the Caribbean community. The program addressed topics including employment-based immigration, family-based immigration, and interactions with U.S. immigration enforcement, with Dr. Boan responding to questions from listeners live on air.
He has also appeared on Empresários de Sucesso TV, where he discussed immigration options including EB-2 NIW and EB-5 and addressed G.E.B. GLOBAL’s international development and relationship with the Brazilian market.
Dr. Boan has further participated as a guest speaker in professional immigration education. In a webinar hosted by Joorney, he addressed Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs) in EB-2 NIW cases, sharing his perspective on petition preparation and responses to USCIS challenges with immigration professionals and business immigration practitioners.
